FAQ
How big is the Daybreak tote?
34.3 × 29.2 cm, in a flat unstructured shape that expands to what you put in it. It carries more than the footprint suggests — but nothing inside is held in place or protected.
Can I carry a camera in it?
Not on its own — there is no padding and the top is open. Drop a Point & Shoot pouch inside and you have a protected cell within an open bag, which is the combination we would actually recommend.
Why ripstop instead of canvas?
For daily use in India, ripstop is the better tote fabric. It weighs less, it does not soak up water the way canvas does, and a snag stops at the nearest grid line instead of running across the bag. The cord fringe and eyelets are the part that has nothing to do with function.
Is it lined?
Yes, in cotton. That is softer against what you are carrying than a coated lining, but it absorbs water rather than shedding it — another reason to treat this bag as rain-resistant rather than rain-proof.
Does it come in other colours?
Blue only. The Daybreak is a limited-edition small-batch piece, and once a colourway is gone it is usually gone for good.
