Size Guide

Every bag we make, with its measurements in one place. If you're between two options, measure what you actually carry and compare it against the numbers below — that's more reliable than any description we could write.

Bag Dimensions (cm) Dimensions (in) Capacity Padding
Point & Shoot camera pouch 7.6 × 14.0 × 3.8 3 × 5.5 × 1.5 ~0.4 L Structured, padded
Detour fanny pack 22.1 × 11.4 × 5.1 8.7 × 4.5 × 2 ~1.2 L None
Off-route sling bag 26.7 × 19.1 10.5 × 7.5 Flat profile None
Memento camera bag 31.8 × 20.3 × 7.6 12.5 × 8 × 3 ~4.9 L Padded + divider
Daybreak tote 34.3 × 29.2 13.5 × 11.5 Flat profile None

All dimensions are exterior. Capacity is approximate and calculated from external volume — usable space is slightly less once padding and seams are accounted for.

How to read these

Depth decides most things. Capacity in litres tells you about volume, not shape. A 4.9 L bag that's 7.6 cm deep will take a camera body; a 4.9 L bag that's 3 cm deep won't, however much total volume it has. When you're checking whether something fits, check the depth first.

Padding matters as much as size. A bag can be the right dimensions and still be the wrong bag. Only the Memento and the Point & Shoot pouch are padded. The others will carry a compact camera, but they won't protect a lens.

Flat-profile bags — the Off-route and the Daybreak — expand to what you put in them rather than holding a fixed shape. They carry more than their footprint suggests, but they don't protect what's inside.

Choosing between them

Phone, cards, keys, passport — hands-free Detour fanny pack

Everything, quickly, with no organisation Daybreak tote

Still not sure?

Email sndryclub@gmail.com with what you're carrying — camera body and lens if that's the question — and we'll measure it against the bag and tell you honestly. Including when the answer is no.
